Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took in part-time jobs to increase her funds. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work with Diva in 1992, her first solo album. The album was an enormous critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. This C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled Now I Let You Go... The album is also her first independently released album.
